I just joined a cool service called FriendFeed.  It attempts to take all the public RSS information it can find and aggregate it in one place, then present you a flowing river of news.

I have added pretty much all the places I update publicly into FriendFeed and you can view it at this link (or below).  You can also add this link to your RSS reader so that you can always be up-to-date on my haps.

I know, I don't have an entry for day 4.  That's because I basically screwed up everything I could screw up without killing myself.  I overslept, I was slow getting out of the house, and when I finally got to the Austin Convention Center, I didn't have my SXSWi badge!  I had left it helpfully hanging on a door handle in the entrance hall of my house, where I completely ignored it on my way out.

Anyway, my final day went quite well!  I did a bit more networking, and attended some interesting panels.  I didn't really get into the post-conference parties this year, I probably should have, but now I have something to shoot for, for next year.  :P

I did stop at the Town Lake Animal Center on the way home, and I visited the doggies looking for a home. Andrea says that more and more since I've been living with Shelby, I've become a dog person. I think she's right -- I caught myself seriously considering adopting a new little black lab puppy I saw there.. he was so cute and looked sad that he didn't have a warm bed and a big sister dog to hang out with.

A guy sat down next to me in the halls of SXSWi today, and we chatted a bit. Turns out he is a film artist and producer that made an exeedingly odd movie in his closet studio last year, and won a Sundance new media award for it. The trailer for it is below.

I was going to hand out some cards I had made up at vistaprint a few years ago at SXSWi but Andrea took it upon herself to design some new ones for me! I totally love them!

It's already pretty late so I won't make this a huge update.  I did want to mention that I am updating through Flock for the first time -- so far I am really liking its slick interface and features!

Ok, off to go to a pub.  Oh, me. 

I went to two panels today.  Well, two-and-a-half.  I went to a book reading too, but decided I wasn't interested and wandered away.


Now I'm off to figure out what I want to do for the rest of the evening -- after conference party, or head home?
