Silent Hill is coming to theaters. I'm ready for a movie to freak me the hell out. I think the last one was Jacob's Ladder. Yeah, that long ago.
And Uwe Boll isn't directing it. Which means it isn't doomed from conception. Thank you, Jesus.

I feel like being terse but I'll give you the skinny on my life recently.
PS - Andrea is awesome! So awesome and she smells good too!
- I'm still on the South Beach diet, we just finished phase 1 and now we can have occasional good stuff like fruit and tortillas! Even some pasta! Woot! Oh yeah, and I've lost close to 10lb so far, but as usual my weight can fluctuate up to 2lb daily, so I don't sweat every ounce.
- I was good about keeping up with the running program! Well until I pulled something in my right calf. I am pretty sure it is a pulled muscle because it mostly hurts on the right side about halfway up from my foot. Nothing but muscle there. And it only hurts when I flex. It happened last Saturday and I'm recovering already so hopefully I will be back running soon. If not I am thinking about getting a stationary bike or even an elliptical machine (though they are spendy).
- I like playing We Love Katamari Damacy a lot.
- I watched Serenity on Sunday and it was the best movie I've seen all year! GO SEE IT. No, really. NOW.

So, this entire last week has been a total blow-off for me. I didn't work out. I didn't look for jobs. I didn't even do chores around the house. In fact, I did abso-friggin-lutely nothing.
But last night and tonight are different -- I've started exploring the net again, and doing little things. I got a couple of things done. And I went and watched "American Pie 2" at the theatre. Man, that movie made me laugh more than I have in a long time! A very good film. Definitely on par with AP 1 if you like that sort of thing.
Tomorrow may potentially be busy. Doing a bit of technical work for my friends, we'll see how it turns out.
I'll be trying to use this forum to post some of my interesting thoughts and ideas along with my normal journal entries. I don't quite have enough friends reading to make it a 'forum' yet, but.. well, the future is wide open.

I drank a very nice bottle of merlot this evening. It's called "St. Genevive." The label states that it is a french wine but bottled in Texas(?)... Anyway, it was fairly nummy.
I also watched "Being John Malkovich" for the second time.. very trippy film. This time I noticed a lot of symbolism and character parallels to "Fight Club." Fight Club is probably in my top five favorite movies, by the way.
