I stopped reading the Wheel of Time series years ago after book 4 or 5 or 7, or whatever. I can't even remember. But, I DO remember the first book was AMAZING. After like 2 books of arc with no end in sight, I was thinking to myself, "this guy got started late, he's in his sixties or seventies.. I sure hope he can finish in time!" Apparently not.
